Bikini (Thinspo)

You close the door behind you softly, cradling an array of different swimsuits. Spring is almost over and you feel ready for summer but slightly anxious.

This will be the first summer you’re skinny. All through winter and fall you worked hard to lose weight. And finally, only a few days ago, you’ve reached your goal weight. You feel light and breezy, but you’re so scared for what people will think.

Sliding off your size zero jeans and your extra small shirt, you look at your thin legs and tiny thighs. You flat tummy is delicate and you run your hand over it, feeling your ribs and when you take a deep breathe, you see them. You’re beautiful, you know that.

Your eyes skim over the many styles and you quickly try on one after another. But none of them are good enough to showcase you’re greatest masterpiece.

Then finally, you get to it. The only bikini you dared to try on. It’s white and pure and when you tug it on, it fits perfectly.

Everything in you cheers when you finally look in the mirror.

The thigh gap you prayed for makes you look like a model. Your skinny waist makes you smile because you don’t even have to suck in to look like a mannequin. And your thin, toned arms fall down your sides, you bend your elbow placing your hand on your hip and wow. You look amazing. Your gorgeous collarbones poke out over the top of the bikini like signs you’ve made it.

“You okay?” You’re best friend asks and you open the door shyly. She gasps, “You look hot as fuck!”

And you can’t help but laugh, knowing she’s right.

“Maybe I should start working out.” Her words are playful but you see the envy in her eyes. Because, you’re not just the skinny friend like you wanted; you’re also the pretty one.

You’re definitely buying this bikini, you think happily.
